These are scheduled throughout the calendar for you to attend and enjoy different crafts with fellow crafters who share the same interests as you.

There will be no set kits to purchase as we encourage you to create with your stash from home.

There will be a list of basic aupplies that you might need for the social clubs, but mostly everyone should have these already in your craft stash.

You will have a teacher who is passionate about the style of craft at that allocated social club.

The teacher will be there to help guide you and show you how they create their projects alongside you.

Everyone is welcome, even if you are a new crafter, just come along and see if this style of craft is for you.

We will also have selected tools and materials for you to be able to use during these social clubs.

Coffee, Cake and Create Days

We are finally starting up our Crafty Social Club days at the studio.

The social clubs are designed for you to be able to pop in, sit down and create with teachers on hand to help you with your projects that you have been working on or didn’t get the time to finish.

These social club days will run from 9:30am to 3:00pm on selected days.

The cost of the Coffee, Cake and Create days is $10 per person and includes a beverage and a slice of cake.

Artful Journals Social Club with Trish

The new year will bring a social club that will be an open style workshop hosted by Trish, that will showcase the endless possibilities of Art Journaling.

As you may already know, Trish is passionate about Art Journaling (or visual art diaries, as it was known in the good old days).

Trish may not scrapbook, but she does love playing and creating will all types of art materials and substrates.

So bring along your journals and enjoy the social interaction with like-minded crafters and Trish while going down this creative journey into Art Journaling.

The Artful Journal Social Club is designed to give you time to play and create freely with no limitations except your own imagination.

Trish will be creating in her journals alongside you and showcasing different techniques and products that she uses in her own diaries.

You will be able to play with some of her products to learn how they work and see if it will suit your own creativity.

There will be no set designed page to create, as your Art Journal page is all about the moment and style you personally want to create.

Trish will have her journals available for inspiration and she can teach you the things you wish to learn about.

We will have a large selection of stencils and stamps on offer for you to create with (everyone knows how many stamps Trish has collected over the years).

If you are completely new to Art Journaling, don’t panic, as you are welcome to come along and see what it’s all about first.
Trish will show you how to start an Art Journal.

You don’t need anything flashy to start, a piece of mixed media paper is a great place to start.

You can use almost any book as a foundation for your art journal, including:

  • Exercise Books
  • Old Recipe Books
  • Visual Art Diaries
  • Art Journals

So just bring them along and enjoy the journey.

There is no right or wrong with art journaling, all you need is some time, a piece of paper and basic supplies.

Flower Power Social Club

Do you have lots of paper scraps lying around that you don’t want to waste? Turn them into flowers!

Join us for this social group and we will show you how to create flowers from your scraps and our dies.

This social club is perfect for some time out to just sit down and create some flowers to match your projects (and help save the environment).

Check out the selected dates and times on the Workshop Calendar.

Come along to our Crop Days to take a day off just to craft.

Join us every 3rd Saturday of the month from 9:00am to 4:00pm to spend some time with fellow crafters in air-conditioning.
